About me – TMI Addition

Background: Born and raised in Indiana, USA. I attended a boarding High School and was bit by the travel bug when we took school trips to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Canada. Then in College, I was able to go to Oxford, UK, for a summer semester abroad and after that, I was looking for any excuse to travel. My then roommate Kay, now wife, and I managed multiple trips on stingy budgets as college students – seeing Niagara Falls in Canada, trips overseas to the UK, Ireland, and France, as well as trips around the US itself.

Sexuality: I fall under the Asexual umbrella into a category called demisexual. This took me until college to figure out, but I was happy to learn that there was a group like me that felt the same things I did…or, well, didn’t. While not everyone needs to label themselves, I find it helps me since I’m so ‘different’ from what society expects of me.

Current: We relocated to California in June of 2018 for Kay’s job, were married in October (via an Airbnb in Los Angeles), and are now eagerly looking forward to exploring our state and taking advantage of the cheaper (and shorter) airfare to Asia and the Pacific Islands.

We have plenty of adventures under our belts and I can’t wait to share some of the tricks we’ve come up with and how being an LGBT+ couple has affected us while planning and traveling both here and abroad.

  1. An outstanding share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a
co-worker who has been conducting a little research on this.
And he actually ordered me breakfast because I found it
for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the
meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending the time to discuss this matter here
    on your internet site.
